Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using bookeasy.co.za (the “Service”, “Bookeasy”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service
 

The Service

Bookeasy S provides a hosted WordPress-based booking system as a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution primarily for individual property owners and small vacation rental portfolios.
 
We host the system on Hostinger.com infrastructure, which maintains approximately 99% uptime.
 
The Service allows you to manage bookings, calendars, and guest communications for your properties.
 

Subscriptions and Billing

  • The Service is provided on a monthly or annual subscription basis.
  • You authorise us to charge your chosen payment method for all fees.
  • Prices are displayed on the website and may change with notice.
  • All fees are non-refundable except as expressly stated in the Cancellation section.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time via your account dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No penalties apply. No refunds are issued for partial months or years.

Your Responsibilities

  • You are solely responsible for the accuracy of your property listings, pricing, availability, and all content you upload.

  • You must comply with all applicable laws (including consumer protection, tax, and tourism regulations in South Africa and the jurisdictions where your properties are located).

  • You are fully responsible for all interactions with guests, including bookings, payments, check-in/check-out, and dispute resolution.

Guest Claims and Liability

Any claims, complaints, injuries, losses, or disputes raised by guests are your sole responsibility. Bookeasy acts only as a technology provider and is not a party to any rental agreement between you and your guests. We are not liable for any losses, damages, refunds, or legal claims arising from guest stays or interactions.

Data Security and Backups

We implement industry-standard security measures and perform regular backups. However, we do not guarantee 100% data integrity or availability at all times.

Limitations of Liability and DisclaimersTo the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We provide the Service “as is” and “as available”.

  • We are not responsible for any data loss, lost bookings, or loss of income caused by service interruptions, technical issues, or any other reason.

  • Our total liability to you shall not exceed the total subscription fees you paid in the 6 months preceding the claim.

  • We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages.

Intellectual Property

All software, designs, logos, and content on bookeasy.co.za remain our exclusive property. You are granted a limited, revocable licence to use the Service for your own vacation rental business only.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you breach these Terms, engage in illegal activity, or fail to pay fees.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. You submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
